Samarind's own, brand new CRM product has just been launched. The result of many months of developer effort, we think it rivals anything currently on offer from industry giants like Microsoft, Sage and Goldmine.

Designed to be easy and attractive to use, the idea is that you create and store all your customer - and supplier - information securely within the database.

As well as the usual names, addresses and phone numbers you can create, update, print and email all your customer documents from inside the system; letters, quotes, faxes, labels, envelopes, diagrams, proposals, tender documents, contracts, reports, photos, project documentation, costing spreadsheets, brochures, photos... in fact any type of document that your PC is capable of handling. Gone are the days when you forget where you saved something or it's on your colleague's laptop and they're not here!

remote working

Because Samarind CRM is built on the industry-standard Microsoft SQL database engine, its sophisticated replication facilities allow salesmen and other remote workers to take their data with them on the road, and even create quotes and other documents while they're away, to be brought back into the main database when they next connect.

compatibility

Samarind CRM links automatically to any package that you have installed on your computer, from the standard Office-type products to more specialist tools like AutoCAD and Visio. It interfaces directly with Outlook for sending emails and, if you have the right sort of telephone system, it can automatically pop up the contact record for the person who's on the phone.

Further modules are available for linking with accounting packages such as Sage Line 50, enabling sales staff to see details such as available credit and past invoices for their customers.
